Rockstar Games has officially confirmed the Grand Theft Auto VI release date as November 19, 2026. The announcement came alongside the release of Trailer 2 on May 6, 2025, ending months of speculation about when the next entry in the legendary franchise would arrive.
The November 19, 2026 release date was revealed at the end of the second GTA 6 trailer, which dropped on May 6, 2025. This marks the first time Rockstar has attached a specific date to GTA 6 since the game was first announced in November 2023. The trailer also confirmed that the game will launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with no mention of a PC version at launch.
GTA 6 will be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19, 2026. This is consistent with Rockstar's historical pattern of launching first on consoles before bringing games to PC.
