GTA 6 World: The State of Leonida

GTA 6 is set in the state of Leonida, a fictional state inspired by Florida. Leonida is the largest map Rockstar has ever built, featuring six counties with diverse environments ranging from dense urban cityscapes to rural wetlands and island chains.

The Six Counties

• Vice-Dale County — home to Vice City, the primary urban center with art deco towers, beachfront boulevards, and neon nightlife
• Kelly County — the wetlands and swamps inspired by the Florida Everglades, with airboats and alligators
• Leonard County — rural farmland and agricultural area
• Mariana County — the barrier islands and Leonida Keys, tropical islands connected by bridges
• Ambrosia County — the industrial zone with factories, shipping ports, and blue-collar neighborhoods
• Lummox County — untamed wilderness and Mount Kalaga
